The Fleurieu Regional Aquatic Centre is an environmentally sustainable indoor aquatic centre and modern sport and recreation facility. It includes the proposed features, an 25 metre, 8 lane lap pool, leisure & children’s pool, a fitness centre facility, outdoor play areas, crèche facilities, a commercial kiosk and a dedicated parking area. The project is a much needed and requested resource to the community and has been on the agenda for many years. The Aquatic Centre is currently in development and its progress is being documented online informing both the public and investors.
Swellnet is a leading online surf and weather forecasting service founded by Ben Matson back in 1998. It now offers world wide surf shot and long range surf forecasts as well as daily observed reports in over 25 national locations and close to 30 live streaming surf webcams running 24 hours a day. The website has grown into an online community, spanning social media, forums and online information boards featuring daily content focused on everything to do with photography, industry news, surfing trends, environmental issues and various surf related journals.
The City of Victor Harbor is the local council area in the Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia and is located 80 kilometres south of Adelaide. The council covers an area of 38,648 hectares and is home to almost 20,000 residents, with it’s causeway coastal location the population doubles over the holiday seasons. The City of Victor Harbor is proactive in it’s approach with the community and has various initiatives in place to help with local business and community members. Elk Creative have helped with various web and design projects for the council.
